Reaching us once you've arrived:
If you arrive with Northlink Ferries you will arrive in Stromness:
- Take main road from Stromness to Kirkwall
- On arriving in Kirkwall turn right onto Muddisdale Road
- At Mills Filling Station. Turn right again at the roundabout
- Onto Junction Road. Pass the hospital and turn right at the sign to Scapa Crafts. We are approx 100 metres on the left.
If you arrive with Pentland Ferries you will arrive in St. Margaret’s Hope::
- Follow the signs to Kirkwall across the Churchill Barriers.
- As you enter Kirkwall you will pass Highland Park on your right,
continue to follow the main road which will then curve downhill to your
left.
- At the bottom of the hill you will see a road to Scapa on
your left DO NOT take this road but take your next left into Scapa Court
just before the red H hospital sign.
- If you pass the hospital or reach a roundabout you have gone too
far. Turn round and turn right into Scapa Court when you see the Scapa
Crafts sign. The house is approx 100m on the left.
If you arrive with John O Groats Ferries passenger only ferry you will not have a car and will arrive in Burwick in South Ronaldsay:
- Take the free bus into Kirkwall and request to be dropped at the Scapa Crafts sign on New Scapa Road just before the red H hospital sign. Walk approx 100 metres up Scapa Court and we are on your left.
Equally if you arrive by air to Kirkwall Airport either:
- Take a taxi from the taxi ranks outside and give our address – cost
will be in range of £5-7
- Take the airport bus and request to be dropped at the Scapa
Crafts sign on New Scapa Road just before the red H hospital sign. Walk
approx 100 metres up Scapa Court and we are on your left.
